So we drove out to the beautiful Ely Cathedral and started yet another Autumn Illusions Photography Session.

I prefer natural lighting, but I do have a mini indoor studio.

Oh baby, baby, baby oh.. Happy Birthday

I met this little girl when she was just a baby and I did her newborn portraits. I couldn't believe a year had passed since I did those pictures. But I jumped at the chance to do her first birthday portraits.

So her daddy put on Justin Bieber's "Baby" and the smiles, giggles, and dancing came out. It made for a hilarious session.

Maternity then Baby.

I know I have been behind on updating this blog. A while back I had one of my favorite maternity sessions. The big brother to be would just light up when talking about his baby brother. He couldn't wait to meet him. You could feel the love for this baby boy that wasn't even here yet.






After the Maternity session, the baby was born. I was then contacted again to meet up with this wonderful family to do a new family session. We scheduled it, and here it is.

Daddy's little firefighter.

I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing couple when I did their Valentine's portraits a year ago. So when they contacted me to their newborn pictures I was thrilled. Specially when I met this little firefighter.







This one was special for Daddy. His favorite guy wearing his favorite team.

About Me- Your Photographer.

I started my passion for photography when I was five years old and I got a hold of my grandfather's camera. Since then I have always had a camera on me snapping pictures.

Finally in 2003 I started taking classes for it, but back then I developed my own film, rolled it, and printed. Since then I have evolved into the digital age by buying my first dSLR.

I am very lucky to have a supportive husband, who allows me to follow my dreams. He also gives me fantastic opportunities by being in the Air Force. We have seen most of the west coast and now Europe.

The name Autumn Illusions comes from my long term love of the season. I feel it is magical in so many ways. The way the trees seem to change from their ordinary green to beautiful yellows, oranges and reds. I feel that it is so powerful that it was the perfect title for my photography. Because that is the way I feel about capture pictures. It is precious moments captured in time forever.

Two little brothers- take three.

I have had the wonderful pleasure of capturing these adorable two boys through since infancy. They are such a joy and I can't wait for the next session!
